Event Details

MPCA in partnership with the Michigan Association of United Ways will be sponsoring a half-day training event on the new DHS online application system called MI Bridges on February 29th from 1pm-4pm at MPCA’s office in Lansing.

The newly expanded MI Bridges system allows clients to apply for all DHS assistance programs (including Medicaid) online, check the status of applications, view notices from DHS, report changes and upload/submit required documents. You can learn more about the Michigan Benefit Access Initiative and MI Bridges through the archive of a recent webinar provided for MPCA members at http://slidesha.re/AxzcBv.

The training will provide an orientation to the background of the surrounding initiative, becoming a Community Partner, creating MI Bridges accounts, navigating the application system and the application process with a specific focus on medical assistance programs.

The training will be free, but we ask that each Health Center register no more than two staff due to space limitations. (We can accommodate 32 training participants total.) Light refreshments will be provided.

Please contact Phillip Bergquist, pbergquist@mpca.net or 517-827-0473, with any questions.
